A Technical Community Coalition for Multistakeholderism (TCCM) has been formed
On June 5, 2024, organizations of the technical community, in which JPRS has been engaged, announced the formation of a Technical Community Coalition for Multistakeholderism (TCCM). TCCM is a coalition of the Internet's technical organizations that operate and provide the core infrastructure and services of the Internet on a daily basis.
From 2024 to 2025, the United Nations will lead efforts to shape the future of Internet operations and usage through the agreement on the GDC, the review of WSIS outcomes including IGF, and other initiatives. It is essential that the technical community, which plays a crucial role in these processes, fully participates in the discussions alongside other stakeholders to ensure appropriate decision-making.
To move forward in shaping the Internet's future for every stakeholder, it is vital that technical community members collaborate and cooperate to share perspectives, develop understanding, and pursue a shared vision that will help secure the future of multistakeholder Internet governance. The TCCM statement issued on 5 June 2024 expresses the basis of such effort currently supported by 14 organizations, including JPRS, which have participated in these activities and contributed to formulating the TCCM. It is expected that more organizations will join and support this initiative. As a company that sustain and boost the network infrastructure, leveraging its activities as the TCCM undersigned, JPRS will continue to contribute to the evolution of the Internet and a prosperous future for people and society.
