Kazunori Fujiwara of JPRS Received an Award in RSSAC Caucus Member Recognition of ICANN RSSAC
Kazunori Fujiwara of JPRS received an award in "RSSAC Caucus Member Recognition" of ICANN RSSAC.
The Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC) is one of the Advisory Committees of the ICANN, which advises the ICANN Board and community on matters relating to the operation of the Root Server System. The RSSAC member consists of representatives from the organizations responsible for operating global root service. And the RSSAC Caucus, which is comprised of all RSSAC members and DNS experts appointed by the RSSAC, is responsible for creating documents published by the RSSAC, such as RSSAC advisories and reports.
Since 2021, RSSAC has recognized Caucus members who have made outstanding contributions. Fujiwara has been a Caucus member since August 2018, and has been actively contributing for various activities which leads stable operation of Root Server System, by his expertise as a DNS researcher and engineer. He was the first three awardees with Paul Hoffman of ICANN and Abdulkarim Oloyede of the Nigerian Communications Commission / University of Ilorin, for his high level of engagement and outstanding contributions.
JPRS will continue to contribute to the global Internet community.
