Yoshiro Yoneya of JPRS has participated in IAB's Internationalization Program as a new member.

JPRS announced that Yoshiro Yoneya of JPRS has newly participated as a member of Internationalization Program[*1], one of the IAB (Internet Architecture Board)'s programs.

The IAB charters various programs for improving the long-term perspective on the Internet informed by technical and architectual considerations.

The members of each program are composed of the IAB members who lead the program, and non-IAB members who are approved by the IAB, as experts of each area.

His participation in the Internationalization Program, which is based on his experience and expertise gained with his activities towards standardization of IDN (Internationalized Domain Names) for many years, contributes to stable operation of the global Internet.

JPRS will continue to make further efforts to contribute to the global Internet community.
