JPRS and KRNIC signed MoU on ENUM DNS

- Agreed to cooperate on development and trial of "ENUM DNS" related technologies -

JPRS today announced that it executed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korea Network Information Center (KRNIC) for cooperation on technological development of ENUM DNS. Based on this MoU, JPRS and KRNIC start cooperation on development of ENUM DNS related technologies, trial on international ENUM DNS connection, and dissemination of technologies in Asia-Pacific region.

In Japan, JPRS worked jointly with Japan Network Information Center (JPNIC) as well as WIDE Project and established "ENUM Trial Japan (ETJP)" in September 2003. ETJP performs technological trial with participation of 43 ETJP members. Also, JPRS releases ENUM related information through its new Website "ENUM Info by JPRS" (http://jprs.co.jp/enum/). In Korea, a similar trial is in progress on the initiative of KRNIC.
